This site jointly showcases the talents of Rocio Amozurrutia and David Miller, two artist friends living and working in Houston Texas.
Sadly Rocio passed away in November 2015, leaving many warm memories to her friends and much inspiring art to the world. By purchasing her art and designs here on this site you too can share in her legacy.
Rocio was born in Mexico City and raised in Laredo, TX. She came to Houston as an artist thirty years ago and studied art at St . Thomas University and the University of Houston. She has participated in many art shows and fundraisers both as an artist and event organizer.
Her art is personal yet universal. She has been influenced widely by other artists and various cultures but her voice is uniquely her own.
David Miller has been an artist for more than forty years. He studied both art and architecture at Rice University and later at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts School. For the last twenty years he has pioneered his own brand of digital art, mostly abstract works on paper or canvas. His work on this site has been inspired by the sacred geometry and symbolism found in mandalas, ensos, and decorative designs found in different eastern, tantric and native american artistic traditions. Many of his designs are created as objects of meditation.
